Westies Hold Leaders Loxwood (

The Westies returned to the Parish Field today for the first time since the fire back in September and made leaders Loxwood work hard for a share of the spoils.
In the end a point a piece was probably a fair result. Peter Baker opened the scoring for the hosts shortly before half time with a trademark free kick, but Loxwood equalised with just under 20 minutes to go.

The Reserves had a wasted journey upto Haywards Heath, when the referee deemed the pitch unplayable upon is arrival. The pitch was still bone hard in area's which ask's the question why did the home side not have a pitch inspection earlier in the day.
Next up for the Reserves is a trip to Wealden Reserves next Saturday.
